About Me

INVITATION FOR VOLUNTEERS, TOURISTS AND PARTNERS
KITAMADUNI UGANDA
Hello,
My name is Charles and I am the founder of this organization Kitamaduni Uganda a registered non-profit organization based in central and western Uganda Uganda.
I have always had the passion to help children from families with less resources achieve their full potentials. This is derived from my personal experience of having grown up as an orphaned adopted child by community well-wishers who supported me become a professional teacher, social worker and a security expert.

In 2011, I became the director of a school and saw my opportunity to help children have access to education (a basic human right). Some years went on, and we’ve reached the level of national NGO, which allows me to keep helping the children. We support orphaned and vulnerable children, teenager mothers to experience the love of a family and experience life with human dignity.

Our centre provides homes, and holistic care to over 360 children who receive everything they need to grow up healthy and whole—food, clothing, medical care, education and most of all the love of a family belonging.
Many girls with unplanned pregnancies are rejected and abandoned by their families. They become desperate, depressed and often consider an abortion as a way out of their predicament. Those who choose to keep their babies are often left to provide for their newborns, without help from family or the boy or man that was responsible for the pregnancy. We labor to offer psychosocial support and skills for raising money for sustainability.
The primary focus of Kitamaduni Uganda is the physical, emotional, social and spiritual health of the girls, young mothers and their babies and vulnerable children generally. One of the strategies to deliver care was the establishment of a school centre and a rescue safehouse within the rural community of Kakinga Trading centre in Bunyangabu district that provide support services to school going children and girls with unplanned pregnancies and equip them with life skills.
Currently, We are supporting 360 children from the ages of newly borns from teenage mothers to 24 years.
We have available space for camping and accommodation.
