Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first joined courchsurfing while traveling Europe with my girlfriend. During a transition point in our life, we took an extended trip to Europe. Now, I'm living in Nashville by myself. I have a nice futon to sleep on and thought I might built some travel karma by hosting courchsurfers.

Interests

I like to talk about and share music. I like to play instruments (guitar, keyboard, synthesizers, drums). I also like to play board games (Settlers of Catan, Munchkin, Sushi Go, etc.)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock music. I like alternative bands such as the Pixies, Built to Spill, Arcade Fire, Mac DeMarco, and many more. I also like rock from the 70s and 80s.

I'm not limited to rock and roll. I also listen to everything from Rap/hip-hop to Scandinavian Electro-pop.

Music is very important to me. I get very excited about it.

Some of my favorite movies are Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, O' Brother where art thou, the Royal Tennenbaums, and Amalie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Complete a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry! Build electric guitars and guitar amplifiers. Snowboard most of the ski resorts in Colorado.
