I am a citizen of the world who has been interested in travelling/the world since a young age when I collected maps from National Geographic magazines! I grew up in and around the Chicagoland area in Illinois, and love the Great Lakes region lots. I had formative experiences camping, riding horses and canoeing in the lakes of Wisconsin and have since led wilderness trips in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, and go up to the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota when I can with my friends (sadly, this is less common now that we're growing up). I have a lot of respect for those who travel alone and I would like to do more of it myself soon. I am interested in learning about your culture and sharing mine!
