About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals where I travel, not just other travellers in hostels. I want to see what it's like to live in these places, and get to know what their people are really like. And I think I'd rather form one strong with a host than a lot of casual ones with all the people at a hostel.

Interests

Film (especially Asian or from the American auteurs), music (listening and making), literature, games (board, card, video, whatever!) modern visual art, food, sport, philosophy, computer programming (I'm not very good, but I want to get better), nature and the outdoors, animals, problem solving ... and of course travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sang Alanis Morissette's 'You Oughta Know' at Karaoke.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make proper Carbonarra (there's not meant to be cream in it!)

I'd always love to learn as much as I can about wherever it is I'm couch surfing, but if that isn't possible I'd settle for a lesson on how to cook a favourite local dish ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to share music, stories, travel tips/locations, and ideas! And of course, everything I can about how to get the most out of Melbourne.
