ABOUT ME

I'm a student from Perth, Australia, studying economics/finance/politics, and just finished up with French. I'm finishing up a semester studying abroad in Vermont and keen to see as much of this huge land as I can in 10 short weeks. As horribly cliché as this sounds I guess I'm pretty laid back, and always keen to tick off new experiences. I'm really easy going, down for anything and really keen to meet some new people in some cool places.

PHILOSOPHY

To see/experience as much of the world as I before I end up in some stable employment somewhere.

I like all the usual things - good books, good films, good music and all that. Enjoy a game of tennis. Always up for a drink and/or a chat. Also like to get some culture into me from time to time - plays, museums, whatever. I have dabbled in a bit of graphic design and enjoy photography.

Evelyn Waugh is always a good read, as is John le Carré and, Agatha Christie. Just read Donna Tartt's The Secret History and can definitely recommend that. I'm also reading F Scott Fitzgerald and Jack Kerouac at the moment - must-reads for anyone travelling the States I suppose.

Most amazing sight ever - the expanses of the Serengeti. Zanzibar is also a really cool (and cheap) place. In fact Africa in general is pretty bloody cool.
