ABOUT ME

I've made some movies, wrote a book that came out last year and am working on another, like to travel both high (hotels and such) and low (cycle touring and couchsurfing). Pride myself on knowing a lot about Los Angeles, which is a hard city to master.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's important to still get in trouble sometimes, trespessing at amazing places and having fun adventures. I try to get out of America at least once a year and out of LA every month.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a massive living room available; there's no couch, but sleeping pad and yoga matt and it tends to be great if you've got a sleeping bag.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spend a year in my early 20s couchsurfing before there was a website for it, all around America and somewhat abroad.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to cultivate the student mind; I'm the teacher in a lot of area's of my life (I teach at community college), so I try and find things to learn. Up next is how to play at least one song on the guitar.
