Where to start? I’m 27, recently married, and thoroughly enjoying life! I love to travel, and am looking forward to so many trips over the next year, as well as a 1000 mile move!

I love dogs. Every dog is a baby and I would love to pet all of them. They need all the pets! I also have 2 lab and husky mixes. One is 90 pounds of love and one is 55 pounds of troublemaking.

I have no children, but have worked with them for the last 11 years as a swim instructor and lifeguard.

I currently work as a manager at a swimming pool, and an outdoor gear sales person.

I’m on coach surfing because staying hotels is awful. I think the best way to gain perspective on an area is to live like locals. Locals always know the best and worst spots. You can gain a lot by experiencing things outside of the tourist mindset.

I enjoy nearly all music, though my favorite is country. I don’t have time for tv and movies (I’d rather be outside). I love reading non-fiction. I like to challenge myself to learn new things.

One of my most memorable trips was a short backpacking trip in Yosemite. We had to switch trails at the last moment due to road closures from snow, and hiked up a million stairs to set up camp. In the morning we woke up to an early November winter wonderland. It was truly magically.

I am still learning. Everyday I try to learn one more thing than I knew the day prior. I have a very functional knowledge base, and am happy to teach anything I know. I also will always be open to learning something together.
