Hi there! I'm currently on a sabbatical (Aug 2025 - Dec 2025) between stages of my career working in encouraging people to travel actively (by foot, by bike, etc.). I love the idea of travelling slowly and immersing myself in local culture and so I'm hoping to dive into the world of couchsurfing over the next few months.

I love being outdoors and connecting to any form of nature (I especially love forests and lakes). I'm a fan of long-distance walking and I have already started doing lots of this during my travels. I also love trail running and climbing so feel free to suggest going on a run together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To connect with people! I'm sick of travelling solo and realised that I want to share these precious moments with others. I'm currently travelling around Europe and have realised that couchsurfing is the way to go!

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes to all music -- especially chilled stuff. I especially love Fleet Foxes and The Avalanches. I'm not watching too many films at the moment, but when I do I love David Fincher (Seven, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr Fox). I struggle to read! But the books I've enjoyed the most are by Stephen King -- I really enjoyed the short story The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon!
