I'm a restless creature who has been sitting in the same place for too long. Not sure how that happened. I'm at a place in my life where my only responsibilities are to myself. I read, write, cook, travel, and knit. My favorite activity is walking about in a strange city, breathing new air.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a couchingsurfing account years ago. Then I wound up sitting in one place too long. I think the account was closed due to inactivity. I have fewer responsibilities and more freedom now. I'm looking forward to entertaining guests and traveling about again.

I can't host at the moment - no room. But I'm always happy to show people around. I live in the oldest part of Tucson, just a five minute walks from the old Presidio.

I left the country with two teenage children and lived abroad for 10 months. It was an amazing time.

I love teaching people to do yarn work. I want to learn to communicate in many languages. I love to share time, ideas, and stories with interesting people.
