I’m Charlie! I live in Arlington, VA, with my Great Dane, Lucy. Arlington is just a quick drive or Metro ride to DC, and I love its mix of safety, walkability, diversity, and endless food and coffee spots.

I’ve worked in education and community support, including teaching elementary school in Thailand and supporting youth and communities in India.

I’m big on traveling, live music, meeting new people, and exploring different cultures. I’m also into fitness, fashion, film, reading, and creative projects that feel meaningful.

I’ve had nothing but meaningful and enriching experiences through Couchsurfing. It’s allowed me to form lifelong friendships and explore new places through the perspective of locals. I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to pay that experience forward. I genuinely enjoy hosting, welcoming new visitors to Washington, D.C., and sharing in the exchange of cultures and customs. In a world filled with challenges, I believe the least we can do is open our doors to one another, offering a safe space and a warm, welcoming experience for fellow travelers.
