I just finished my studies in Geography and from now on, I have more or less 40 to 60 years to travel around the world ;)

I'm a geography student full of love for outdoor activities. I love hiking, climbing or anything that brings me in the mountains ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always received friends or friends of friends at my place so why not offering my couch on this website ?

Interests

I love being in the nature and therefore I really love the activities that you can do outside. I started climbing quite recently but I really appreciate it. I'm use to hike and camp in wild places. If I could spent my life outside I think I would do it. Unfortunately for me I am living in a city right now (but pleasant one).

Travelling is also a passion (yes, like everyone else ) but not anyhow. I prefer long to very long travels with slow mean of transports. Boats and trains are among my favourite. I would not say no to a travel with a horse or a canoe...

Cooking is also one of my passion and I used to be a professional cook. I'm now vegetarian (and happy to be so).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of jazz and music from the 60's. Going to a jazz concert is one of my favourite activity when I'm in town. I play some bass but trumpet is my true love (even if I don't play it).

Well when it comes to cinema I'd rather say that I'm not so easy. I find blockbusters boring. Small productions get my interest (especially movies from South America).

For the books it's adventures story, classics and books which make you think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Among others I've hiked on the southern patagonian icefield.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some cooking, French or geography (yes it can be taught). I'm willing to learn what people wants to teach me :)
