About Me

New to couchsurfing! Travelling for 7 months and keen to meet up with locals to experience the real Slovenia, share stories and experiences.

Some of the adventures my boyfriend and I have had are: we hitchiked around Taiwan, cycled across Japan, were adopted by a Japanese couple for a week, hiked along Portugals coast, kitesurfed In greece, looked after rescued dogs and wolves, and hopefully we have more to come!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The opportunity to show and be shown a more authentic travelling experience and meet diverse people from around the world!

I think we love to talk about life and how we want to live it more than anything. If you, like anyone else I know, loves to be listened to like you are the most important person in the world, then you will love Michael. :p

We'd love to share new adventures with you: chatting, hiking, a drink or two, and definitely a lot of laughing :)

Hiking, nature, deep conversations about life and how to live it, sharing perspectives and stories, creating new adventures, wild swimming, laughing, camping, sports, international development, travelling, buddhism, painting, And more than anything meeting new people and having new experiences

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked the 5 week long (800km) Camino de Santiago in Spain. This was the most connected I've ever felt with myself, the world and people around me. If you haven't done it, I definitely recommend it!
