I'm Charlie and I love to travel and to write and meet new people by couchsurfing, because I like to meet new people in general and have fun together and learn about your stories and different cultures.

The last few years I traveled by hitchhiking with my boyfriend. This year I traveled alone for the first time and in 6 weeks I explored the Balkan countries. It was exciting and defenitely worth it, I would realy like to travel more often on my own. :)

I love music, mountains/nature and culture and spontaneous meet ups with new people.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In the past I met people of other countries by hitchhiking. I loved the stories and nice encounters with so much lovely people. This year I'm not hitchhiking because my boyfriend has to stay home for his studies, so I liked couchsurfing and see if this is a nice way to make friends as well.

Conclusion: It's even better! :) Although hitchhiking is wonderfull as well. Anywayz it makes me decide to be a host in Netherlands as well. I'm looking forward to the meet ups at my own home too. :)

兴趣

I'm glad whenever I can walk around in nature with my back-pack on. It helps me to clear my head. Unexpected sights can always pop up at any given time and I love the unpredictability of this. Whenever I can see something that I would not be able to find at home I get very happy.

音乐、电影和书籍

I really love history books and works of journalists who write stories about their travels. I also love to read novels. If I had to choose between fiction and-non fiction, I guess I like non-fiction more. I prefer to learn facts and real stories.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Even if it's cold I love to swim, so this is what I did in april: swimming in the waterfalls of Kravica Bosnia, swimming in the Adriatic Sea in Greece and in the wonderfull lake in |Ohrid. It was cold but it was nice! :) Love life!
