关于我
I just want to travel and ride bikes with my friends.
Born in Louisiana; high school in Alabama; college in Mississippi; 2 years in Dallas; 3 years in NYC; a year and a half in central Maryland; 2,000 mile bike ride from Cumberland, MD, to Telluride, CO; 2 weeks washing windows in Salida, CO post-bike ride; then moved to New Orleans July of 2015.
if you find a lucky penny, give it to someone else. it will bring you a lot more luck that way.
life is too short to let an occasion to celebrate pass you by uncelebrated.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed. I've hosted. I happened to be in NYC (before I lived here) for NYC CouchCrash 2010, and participated in bike rides and events. I got full into CS while I was working in DC and shared food at a bar with strangers... the strangers invited me to a party... that party was a CS party and was one of the best I've ever been to... it was complete with tricycle races, fire shows, balloon animals, tightrope walkers, live music, and a hot tub. My contribution was grilling.
From there I organized events in Dallas until I left for a job relocation in NYC.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Everything has been great. No complaints. I've found that I don't have couchsurfing connections. I have new friends in new places, and that kicks ass.

I bike. I brew. I love live events - concerts, sporting events, etc, and I love any sport on water - kayaking, sailing, snowboarding, hockey. I like people with kind hearts and good stories.

音乐、电影和书籍
I am that person in my circles of friends that has never seen the movie that is being discussed. However, when it comes to music, I will introduce you to anything under the sun.
When I discovered the American Winston Churchill, I discovered my favorite author.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Summer of 2015 did a 2,000-mile charity bike ride from Cumberland, MD, to Telluride, CO. Coolest thing ever.
February 7, 2010, I witnessed the surficial effects of hell freezing over. They said it couldn't be done, but I was in seat 8, row 8 of section 125 in Dolphin Stadium when Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts to win their first Super Bowl. The ensuing transformation of South Beach into an extension of Bourbon Street was one of the most beautiful sights I had (and have to this day) ever witnessed.
