ABOUT ME

I was born in Ohio and lived there for most of my life. I went to college and studied philosophy and socail theory (I specailized in philosophy of science, epistemology and philosophy of religion). After that I moved to Chicago and worked in Special Ed. for a bit which was awesome! Then I joined peace corps and now I live in Azerbijain

Interests

Movies, the Simpsons, Philosophy, Physics and logic, rap music, trying to become more well rounded, trying to learn Azerbijaini and Russian, trying to learn to cook better food and sleeping either way too much or not nearly enough. Also, trying to understand art...

Music, Movies, and Books

Big lists. I love anything by Dostoevsky and Wittgenstein.... I love cartoons in general but the absurdist ones are my favorite (Spong Bob, Aqua Teen, Home Movies come to mind).... I really like most movies, they just rule. Go movies!... As for music, NY rap (Biggy, Beastie Boys, Tribe Called Quest) is my fav.. I listen to some classical but it goes over my head most of the time...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being lost in Sheki in Azerbijain on Christmas with a great friend and not being able to speak the language at all... a head trip!

I can do philosophy well- I know German idealism and Contemporay Analytic stuff really well (my greek is a bit rusty thou ;) )... I can make a mean plate of pasta...
