About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travel is moving higher on my life's to-do list!
ABOUT ME
i have been holed-up at home a lot and want to travel! there are many places i've always wanted to visit - i'm talking to you, LA, santa fe, boulder, hawaii, and the list goes on. this is just my domestic list. there are hundreds or thousands of places to visit internationally!
there are also places i've seen a little of and would like to re-visit. outer banks, NC and key west are tops on that list at present.
PHILOSOPHY
wow if that isn't an open question!
as i mentioned, i am open-minded. i am extremely liberal politically speaking. i believe in mother earth and doing everything i can to recycle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i haven't had much freedom to host in the past.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
only one trip so far. however i stayed with friends and acquaintances on short trips a bit when i was in my 20s. i am open minded and pretty low-maintenance.
cigarette smoke and pet hair were slight problems, though i think my animal allergies have somehow improved since then.
Interests
i'm a huge music nerd to begin with. when i'm not mixing shows, i'm listening to music, working on an editing project, maybe playing... i love it all.
i've lived for many years in nyc in all four boroughs (sorry Staten Island, i don't count you), then in Miami for a little while and am now in Chicago permanently. i have an ongoing summer job in the Berkshire mountains of Western Mass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
a few years ago, i traveled to medellin, colombia. actually i've been there a few times. on one trip, we went to the mountains outside the city. there, exists a massive prehistoric rock, called "la piedra del peñol," or the rock of (the town) penol. it rises 7000 feet high, and many say much more of it is below ground than what is visible!
like the grand canyon, you can see a hundred pictures of it and be impressed, but it doesn't mean much until you see it in person. it's unbelievable.
Teach, Learn, Share
i can help you with a sound system, setting up your computer for recording, nearly anything musical.
What I Can Share with Hosts
i can be a tour guide if your schedule is flexible. i love this city so far. i can show you what i know and discover more.
