ABOUT ME

Hey hey- 30 year old here, live in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. Friendly, boisterous, intelligent and relaxed. Genuinely love meeting from all over, sharing stories. Expert at getting shy people out of their shells and getting them to talk.
Partnered with my boyfriend Cameron for 9 years; he often travels with me.
Obsessed with film of all types, with a particular interest in documentaries, foriegn films, smaller films. Big music fan, and consider it a good housewarming present to tailor a mix CD to your interests. Respectful, non-smoker (though I have no problem with smokers).
Usually consider myself 'indie', whatever that means.
I write for a magazine (indiewire.com) which sends me to film festivals around the world; I like to schedule a few extra days to travel, and would love to take advantage of this website to help see more places and meet more people.

Movies: Many favorites. Nashville, Barry Lyndon, Days of Heaven, Blade Runner, The Rules of the Game, Fanny and Alexander, To Have and Have Not, Gates of Heaven, Nights of Cabiria. I watch a LOT of movies, and don't consider anybody's opinion less valid who watches fewer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned to scuba dive in Honduras, two weeks before writing this. The reef around the island of Roatan is quite possible the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

I play bridge, which is kind of an old person's game.
