ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. totally asian!
but not the stereotype.
I am out and easy-going, especially like to share my stories and listen to others' stories.
Constantly open-minded to experience everything I have never tried before, and to meet new people!

I just got my master degree from Wageningen University in the Netherlands , and was an exchange student in Iceland for 9 months.
My background back home is Forestry and Resource Conservation, but I studied Marketing and Consumer studies for my master. Sounds totally different? Yeah, it's a bit challenging for me, but life is always full of challenges, so why not? Just get into the new world, try to combine with my old studies, and enjoy it! Actually, I am also interested in psychology and design. :p (really broad interests)

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy everything I have encountered in my life, both good and bad things. Of course I definitely feel sucks or sad when there is bad thing happened (i am not saint! haha), but after all the things I can do, I will try to look at the bright side and to see what I can learn from it as a lesson of life, making the happening of the bad thing more meaningful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love traveling and meeting people from different countries.
"Travel is appealing because it allows us to be closer to our lives and the lives of others."

When I started my life in Iceland, it was my first time to spend a long period in Europe. I realized that there were many opportunities for me to explore in Europe, and met people with different cultural backgrounds.

Couchsurfing is a perfect idea for me to start my trips. The most fascinating part about Couchsurfing is that I can meet locals or someone who really live he/she life where I would like to go to. I can really enjoy and get involved into the local culture (maybe some secret places?) rather than just going to the tourist attractions. At the same time, we can share our lives with each other! Awesome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am still a beginner in CouchSurfing, so I have never slept on any couch, bed, or floor where not acquaintances.
But I have visited many friends in different countries, stayed with their friends and family, and shared their lives.

When I was in Iceland having my own room, I have hosted people I have never know before. It was so nice to meet them, show them around the city in Reykjavik, sitting in bars/cafes and talking. We had a good time, became friends, and still keep in touch with each other.

Movies-
Art film, also mainstream, documentary, animation.
enjoy the movie especially which can make me think, but also like the movie just for fun and no need to think anything sometimes.

Books-
books about design, travel, psychology, fantasy, novel with beautiful words.

have stayed in an isolated island which is famous for the crisis and the eruption of the volcano for 9 months.Enjoy the life in Iceland, and love amazing landscapes!
