We're a family of 4 + 1 cat living in Bonn, Germany : Charlotte (40), Gabriel (42), Léonor (12) and Esther (9).

We lived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for 10 months in 2022-2023.

We host for 1 or 2 nights, from Monday morning to Friday morning. Weekends are family time for us.

We share 2 rooms with CS (1 bedroom + bathroom and the kitchen).

We love to share one family dinner with CS and let you do your life for the rest. If you don't wish to share a meal, that's no problem. A chat over a coffee or a drink is nice too.

We love to meet people from around the world and discuss travelling and discoveries. We've been hosting people everywhere we've been living, always through our network of friends. We lived in France and in the Middle East, Gabriel lived 6 months in New Zealand. We now live in Phnom Penh and are happy to expand the circle of kindness, friendliness and openness wider.

A friend of Charlotte's has been hosting for more than 10 years. She met so many wonderful people through couchsurfing that it made us want to give it a try.

We're a family, which means there are family rules in our house (2023 rules, though) and maybe not the partying mood you might be looking for. If you're looking for a place where you can be yourself while respecting the space of the others, you're at the right place.

We go to bed early, the house is quiet from 8pm. We wake up at 6.30. I (Charlotte) work from home and need the place to be quiet during the day.

We try to keep the house tidy and clean (as much as possible).

We don't cook meat, fish or any animal at our place.

We traveled through the Middle East, North Africa, South East Asia and Europe. We love discussing cultural specifics and spirituality, if that's your thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gabriel and I (Charlotte) met in Jerusalem in 2005. We lived in the Palestinian Territories for 6 years. Then France (Normandy) and now Cambodia. We lived too many extraordinary adventures to be able to pick only one to talk about in this little box. Let's meet and share!
