I love different languages and cultures. I studied abroad in Scotland and taught English in France (where I also learned the language), and they were some of my most valuable life experiences.

Last summer I visited a friend in Alaska, who signed me up for a 5K, which was the first time I tried to run. I loved it so running has been my newest hobby.

I am an arts aficionado, and I especially love to read and write. I took a few poetry classes this year and am trying to become serious about my writing and work toward publishing.
