Hi fellow travelers and adventurers. I'm Charlotte, a 22 year old student. For the moment I live in Bruges in a student room because of my studies. I'm learning to become a chef and maître d'hotel (butler) so my days consist of cooking a lot, tasting wine, running our school restaurant and enjoying the food of course. I don't like talking about myself but let's give it a go (since some of you might want to stay on my couch (matrass) someday). I'm quite shy at the beginning but once I feel comfortable you won't notice that anymore. I'm social and always in for having a good time out with friends. I listen to music EVERY free minute I have, from the moment I wake up till the moment I go to bed, but don't worry, if you would stay at my place I will adjust to your wishes. For the moment I'm mostly accupied with school and enjoying my weekends. I think I can say i'm quite alternative (don't know how else I should say or explain this) and open-minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In June I'm graduating as a chef-cook and maître d'hotel. I don't know yet what my plans are for the future but the one thing I know is that I don't want to stay in Belgium for the rest of my younger years. I want to see the world, meet new people, taste food from all over the world since cooking is my passion, I want to explore. I guess this is the reason why now is the moment I'm joining CS. I've heard so many good things about it and I've been thinking of joining for quite some time now. So here we go!

Interests

Cooking, good food, skiing, discovering new music, playing the guitar, going to concerts, underground (house, techno, ..) parties, hugging and climbing trees, travelling, photograpy (not professional), enjoying art (litteraly every form of art), night walks without having a plan, hanging around in the park on sunny days, walking barefoot in the grass and so on. Feel free to ask me anything if you want to get to now me better. (Oh, and if you want to know more about what music I listen to, go ahead and ask, it's just really too much to enumerate right here)

Music, Movies, and Books

Like I said above, too much to sum up but ask me and I'll be happy to show you around in the wonderful world of (what might be my biggest) passion. If I have to describe it in one word: eclectic. So many different genres, as long as it isn't commercial. To give you an idea: anyting between instrumental, chillwave, ambient, singer-songwriter, reggae, indie, folk AND (dreamy) poppy, psychedelic (rock or whatever), electronic, goa, trance, techno, house and so on.
