I have recently graduated from university in the States and have moved to the UK to work and travel. I feel like I have traveled all over the place, but there is still so much to see! I spent a month studying in China, I've been to quite a few of the states, as well as Mexico and Haiti in that part of the world. Currently trying to work my way around Europe.
My favorite thing about traveling is meeting new people and experiencing other cultures. I have so much more to see and can't wait to get out there and see what the world has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to do a trip near the end of 2017 and obviously as I have just graduated from university and spending most of the past year doing an internship I haven't got the finances to stay in nice hotels. I have stayed in a lot of hostels, but thought I would give this a try. Seems like a great way to meet people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite band is still the Lumineers, but I'm also on the Ed Sheeran and Chainsmokers band-wagon at the moment. Also love all country music, but it's not that easy to come by over here!

Movies- you can't go wrong with Pride and Prejudice with Kiera knightly. Also love action movies, and Harry Potter- I mean, who doesn't love Harry.

Books- I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy. Also really like fiction. Currently trying to get through the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the coolest places I have been is China. The culture is just so different from any other place I have been before and everything was much, much older. Visiting the Great Wall was just an amazing experience, even if it was 100 degrees and 90% humidity and we all almost passed out lol.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a native English speaker and I am trying to learn Spanish, although I could definitely be putting more effort into it. I also have a degree in agriculture so if you have any questions about growing things I could probably help you out!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to help people with their English and I can also teach people about gardening and how to grow things. I can show people around the South coast of England as I have lived here for almost a year now and visited about 10 times prior to moving here.
