I'm Charlotte, a 21 year old Graphic Design student living in Ghent. I’m a very curious person, open minded, always trying to figure things out and trying to see things in a new perspective. Besides designing, I enjoy spending my free time bothering people in the street to save the planet. Also out of environmental awareness, I am trying to become a vegetarian, but resisting my mothers spaghetti is still difficult.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The next couple of months, I will be living in Utrecht to do an internship at a graphic design studio. Currently I'm couchsurfing because I haven't found a place to put my refurbished caravan yet. I only need 4m x 2,3m of space, an electrical outlet and a water hose, so if anyone knows a place in Utrecht, let me know! I would like to take her with me during the weekend of March 4th. Thanks!

Music, Movies, and Books

One of the most interesting movies I've seen lately is Victoria (2015): 138 minutes long, shot in one take and it took 3 attempts to film the movie.

I'm really proud of the Belgian music scene, so I listen mostly to Belpop and artists like Soulwax.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In October 2016 I attended IDEM21, short for International Design Education Meeting, in Israël. Together with about 70 design students and teachers, from 7 different countries, we did an art project, looking at current environmental/social... issues.
