I've been a avid traveler for much of my young adult life, always looking for the next adventure to shake things up and help me figure out some things. My preferred name is Charlie Wolfe, a stage name I chose when I began performing my poetry at open mics a few years ago. I love exploring, but am currently struggling to do it properly after so much time on the road.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been road-tripping across the United States since June in order to figure out where to live, but I have not done a very good job of exploring the places I stay. Perhaps it's fatigue and overwhelm from all the journeying, or I just don't know where to start. I would also like to know if I would be able to make friends in the places I visit. I can't call a place home if I can't build community, even if it's a small one. Currently, I am trying to check out the Pacific Northwest before winter closes in.
