ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and living in new places. I have been lucky enough to live in London, Melbourne, Byron Bay, Queenstown. I would describe myself as an outdoorsy person I love cycling, running, hiking yoga, skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving. A big part of my travelling experience is finding new food recipes.

I essentially looking for a local experience - I am putting the feelers out to move to Portland longer term so trying to soak up as much of the local life as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
I have couch surfed in Barcelona.

I enjoy cooking for friends, housemates and of course hosts!
I like experimenting with new cuisines - recently with Vietnamese food.

Being active is important to me and exercise daily; I enjoy cycling, hiking, running (training for a half marathon), yoga.

I love books; bookshops and my treasured traveling companion - Kindle.

Scuba diving. I learnt to dive in the Philippines, and was lucky enough to work on a boat on the great barrier reef.

Recently i have been making plans to start my own company.. so i am reading alot of inspirational books to make this happen! Such as the 4 hour work week and entrepreneur revolution.

Books:
Recently I have been enjoying classics, other favourites include The Goldfinch, The Glass House, Hunger games, Shantaram, Extremely loud and Incredibly Close.

Film: Amelie, True Romance, Life is beautiful.

Music: Rock, folk, instrumental, jazz, electronic.

So many times an experience has left me awestruck but they would include:

- Waking up at 4 am to deep dive with thresher sharks in the Philippines.

- Looking down at the beauty of a perfect snow peak in New Zealand.

- Road tripping from San Francisco to Wyoming in 2014.
