I'm enjoying my retirement so I'm not always at home. April 20 to September I work in Alaska. 2015 I'm in Skagway.

Friends remark on my enthusiasm, adventurous spirit, kindness and intelligence. I prefer exotic to eccentric but one might call me either of these.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all brothers and sisters. Any human emotion is shared and reflected by all of us. Spirit or God is undefinable but ever present around and in us all, including all the good and evil we do in our lives.

As a retiree, I'm always traveling. As the bookstore manager for the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park, I travel to AK from MT in April and back in October.

I am a reader and an outdoors person. Animals and children also have played large roles in my life. Presently I am more involved in spiritual aspects of my life: meditation and sacred dance.

I love this question and have many different answers. Once in the early morning while I was sitting beside a lake in Yellowstone, an otter stuck her head out of the water and stared at me. There was a communion between us that transcends my vocabulary. Another time in a shrine in Lamasu in Amdo, Tibet I was moved to tears by the voice of God. When my first child was born, after nine months of pregnancy, I was still unable to truly believe that my body had brought life into the world. For my 60th birthday I walked 947 km on the Camino de Santiago and learned to meditate and pray.
