ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going Aussie girl who works as a nurse. In September 2012 I resigned and bought a one way ticket to London (it was planned). i had the aim to travel Europe then potentially find work in London and settle down for a year or so. Now I'm more interested in the travel side, working in London isn't the aim instead if I can find work along the way here and there I feel I would get more experience.
I love hanging out with my friends, good nights out, good nights in with cheese and wine!
spending time in Coral Bay (ningaloo reef W.A) on the beach, in the ocean, with my family.
I also enjoy my own company though so travelling alone is working for me so far. I love wondering new places and getting lost :)
I consider myself a compassionate people person which is why nursing works for me.

PHILOSOPHY

Part of my travelling solo is to try understand my personal philosophy I guess...I'm not really sure, at the moment I would say I want to live my life not just let time pass

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment while travelling I would love to participate by staying on other couches getting to know them and the area they live. Once I'm done with travel (if that's possible!) and I'm settled I would love to host people

Have surfed in Austria and it really made my whole experience

Musica, film e libri

I love my music but can never describe what type that is because I like so much. Aussie and indie music is something I listen to when on a train or hanging out (city and colour, boy n bear, gotye) are some faves at the moment.
I love a bit of hip hop to run to and top 40's for a dancing night out!
But at home in the car on the radio it's always 94.5fm which is basically 70's 80's and 90's classic which I love singing along to!

Books - I never had much time for at home but Harry Potter was great! and John Grisham I've just gotten into in my travels.

Movies - love a movie night :)
I can watch almost any chick flick romance but some of my favourite movies are actually action I.e. taken and the Bourne films.

Booking a one way ticket to Europe to travel on my own Is a pretty amazing thing I did nearly 7 months ago!

But during that 7 months canyon jumping in Interlaken was seriously awesome!!

I'd love to exchange stories of the difference in European and Australian culture/upbringing. I'm not sure what else I have to teach...basic first aid maybe!? Haha
I would love to learn about different foods, culture and language! Spanish, Italian and French and three languages I would love to learn in my life time so any starter words would be welcome :)
