ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old, been married for since May 2016, and I love learning new things. I work at an incredible Christian radio ministry as the social media Coordinator (and also the personal assistant to the executive director), so clearly I'm a follower of Christ. I love meeting new people and spending time with friends and family and spontaneous plans are often my favorite! I have a lot of opinions but am respectful of those whose opinions differ from mine because, ultimately, I love good conversation :) If I'm being honest, my husband is cooler than me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed all over Ireland, hosted fellow couchsurfers and exchange students (sometimes multiple groups at a time), and when I can't host, meet up with travelers in Chicago.

Interests

Being outside, bike riding, exercising, reading, driving, badminton, sitting in cafés, spending time with friends and family, traveling (duh), snuggling, learning foreign languages, nerding over finances/history/theology/etc., dancing, parties, concerts, geocaching, disc golf, craft beer, and wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

For books, any classics (ie. Pride and Prejudice), history (ie. On Hallowed Ground), finance (ie. anything Dave Ramsey), theology (ie. C.S. Lewis), and general fiction (ie. Harry Potter)
Movies: Disney, films based on classics, English and Australian films in general (and some French), Downton Abbey, Scrubs, Fawlty Towers, Bewitched (and other 1960-70 American shows). I'm pretty open as long as it isn't a horror film, trashy, or super dumb humor (ie. Tenacious D).
Music: Christian, classic rock, folk, international (Scottish, French, Spanish, etc.), pop, techno, alternative... my music taste is all over.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not really cool mostly random: I got to wash dishes with Stephen Baldwin's wife/Hailey Baldwin's mother... she's nice. lol

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is too short to be constantly bitter, angry, and afraid. This world is a mess, but I don't have to contribute to that mess.

Board games. Lots and lots of board games (my husband is obsessed). And beer! We drink good beer.
