ABOUT ME

Charlotte: I am an enthusiastic, chatty, bubbly soul. I love meeting new people and trying new things. I worked as a Barista in Starbucks throughout my degree and loved the hustle bustle and constant interactions with people from all over the world. I love reading, music, going to the theatre, dancing the night away and just laughing really :) I have done lots of voluntary work, organsing events like plays, talent shows, pub quizzes. I would love to go into events organsing but decided that I needed some life experience first!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short and you never know when it may end- so love and enjoy life and it will love you back :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never coachsurfed and have heard from many others what a great way it is to meet locals and truely understand their way of life, which was one of the main reasons I had wanted to travel. I love family life and miss my own so becoming an active part in a family albeit for a few days would be wonderful :) Equally I miss my friends so being in a social environment is an equally welcome thought :)

Intereses

I have spent most of my adolescent life and indeed my early twenties performing. IO love to sing, act and dance (although my dancing capabilities leave a lot to be desired!) I love watching music, listening and taking part. I love to read as I have mentioned previously completing a degree in English Literature and Drama further fuelled this love. I love walking, cooking (my partner always is teaching me new things and ways to make food even more delicious!). I love coffee and chatting over a nice filer coffee is a favourite way of mine to spend an afternoon. I also do a lot of creative writing, observing and describing where I am what I'm doing and using it for a story later on!

Música, películas y libros

There are too many things to write here so i will say that Jane Austen and Margret Attwood are my favourite authors but I go through phases :: I love Jazz, Folk, Musical Theatre, Rock and to be honest just about anything! Etta James, Gladys Knight and the Pips and Muddy Waters are inspiring along with Carol King, James Taylor, Tori amos and Van Morrison. More up to date and Kings of Leon, The Rifles, The Kooks and anything vaguely House or DnB will do me just fine! Movies- I tend to be a sucker for anything pixar I'm afraid, comedies. I'm open minded so will give anything a go. My all time idle is Woody Allen and Annie Hall has saved me many a time from a rainy sunday afternoon!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Being involved in a production or band- in which there are too many to count. That feeling when the curtain comes up when the lights shine on you and you step out as someone else, as a Baroness or a southern American Mayors wife, as a Brazilian story teller or a ragged beggar. Every night is different. Your cast are your family and you breathe as one. Exhilirating an unforgettable. The tension, the laughs the after parties :)
