ABOUT ME

I'm a musician and artist trying to start a new band, and a new life.. what better place than New Orleans? I've traveled quite a bit in my lifetime, hitchhiked and hopped freight trains, skipped a parallel universe or two, gotten into and driven through Mexico with no passport or registration, learned some magic with the shamans in the mountains of Mexico. I've definitely got some true stories that sometimes even seem to me like sci fi /fantasy in a good way :) really I crave too much excitement to have it any other way.
I've spent the last year working with shamans and vines... Traveling Mexico, and the coasts of California. Writing music for a glam rock / psychedelic / jazzy torch performance group that I'm envisioning coming together in New Orleans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Though my profile claims that I am an inexperienced couchsurfer, the site is actually just being a bit of a glitch about it and reset my profile. I started using couchsurfing when I went on my big Europe trip about ten years ago and it completely made my trip, I'm still friends with people I met at that time (a gal I stayed with in Prague, years later actually joined my band in SF hehe).
It's the people that I meet along my journeys that tend to make the biggest impression, the location is the playground & the stage for our interactions. Glad to have this as a resource to meet you :)

Interests

Singing, playing music, art, grassroots revolution, travel (duh), drinking lots of coffee, writing, dressing up and prancing around, magic & time travel, sacred plant medicines, street art, reading the good shit, heckling bad jokes over bad movies, exploring everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hosted a Cabaret performance with my old band in an abandoned warehouse in SF. Secret entrance maps, furs, tapestries, gin martinis and jangly musicians 👌🏽
