Life is too short to be stuck behind a desk all day, all week, all year. Thus my motivation is to explore the world as much as I can in the time I am afforded. (And ride my vespa! wheeeeeee....) If you would just peel away my outer shell, you might get to learn a whole lot more than is worth listing out here. =)

Surfed a little in Australia and Ireland a few years ago. Just returned from another experience in Turkey!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving (accelerated free-fall, not tandem) was one of the craziest thing I have ever done! And...call me crazy, but I had actually volunteered to go through army military training for a while, and in retrospect, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. (In my country, it is only mandatory for the boys to do this at age 18.)

Teach, Learn, Share

After eight love years of a career in the public service (my first job), I have decided that life is too short to live behind a desk (no offense to those who do). I am currently learning a new skill - Rolfing (a type of holistic manual therapy). It's fringe, it's different, it's off the beaten track. I don't know for sure if this is the pathway I intend to pursue, but I am going to enjoy the journey getting there anyways.
