ABOUT ME

I was born in Hawaii, and I was raised there, Japan, Romania, and Cyprus, and I've also lived in the states of Pennsylvania, Northern California, and Colorado. So, I don't really have a home town. The way I live, talk, and go about my life is a mix of all those countries' and places' influences on me. It was rough as a kid to have had to move every half a year or a year but now I am very thankful for the person I have been shaped to be. I've also seen a lot of Europe when I was living there and went to school with kids from all over the world. I've seen a lot of North America too travelling. So all in all, different cultures and trave have been a big part of my life.

My dream and life is about becoming a well known musician to satisfy my craving for playing on stage and at the same time break down stereotypes and racism. Music has always been there and it was the only thing that was constant when where I was living was always changing.

PHILOSOPHY

There was this one guy on TV that was about to jump into a waterfall or something he said, "Do what makes for a better story." That to me personally made a lot of logic. So I pick what I do by how it would make my life more interesting, even if not necessarily safe, practical, or logical lol it's the same concept as when peopel say "some live without truely living" and other similar quotes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I represent the group of people called Third Culture kids. Third culture kids are people who have been raised in a number of different cultures and parts of the world. We are not sure which country to call home and have cultural qualities from each place we've lived in. some famous third culture kids are Keanu Reeves ( born in lebanon, raised in autralia, Canada and the US), Barrack Obama (born in Hawaii to Kenyan and American mother raised in Indonesia, Hawaii and mainland USA) Kobe Bryant (born in the US, raised in the US and Italy)

兴趣

I enjoy songwriting, singing, playing instruments (I play guitar, some bass and some drums). When I'm not doing something with music I like to just chill and talk with people who like to do just that, and if there is good food and good drinks, that's a plus! (I will eat almost anything, I love food!) Though, I'm not really good at them, I love board sports too; skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing.

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies: I like these movies because they have a lot of effort, steez/style, and good storyline in them. (Batman begins, The Dark Knight, The Matrix, Lords of Dogtown, Fight Club.)

Music: While gangsta rap might be fun to mess around with when you are hanging out, I only listen to real hip hop that's about life, love, hardships, good times. Hopefully this will be known as the only type
of hip hop soon. (Jurassic 5, Talib Kweli, Blackalicious, the Foreign Exchange)

I also listen to rock, since I'm a vocalist, I like bands with singers that can sing better than a lot of other singers out there, ofcourse I appreciate good instrumentation too. (Incubus, Nine Inch Nails etc.)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Moving around a lot, I've met a lot of people but never got to grow up, or spend more than a year with them. So whenever I get to know someone for more than a year, it's an awesome thing for me.

I can share with you many interesting and often funny stories of growing up in these places and of travelling around. If you wanna learn any of the stuff I can do, like sing, write songs, play guitar, skateboard, snowboard, I will teach you that stuff for sure.!
