ABOUT ME

I have a severe addiction to books. It's a habit that I just can't seem to kick. But seeing as I am such a book junkie, I really have no desire to kick the habit anyways. My love of books inspired me to become a writer so I plan to write my way through the world experience, connected to everyone and everything.

I am always open to new ideas and concepts, and love it when people can really can challenge my own thinking. I have my own ideals and opinions but will respect and listen to yours as well.

There's probably a lot more I could write about myself but it might just turn into a whole other read.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host as much as I can but when I it doesn't work out that way I am always up for a chat over coffee or a nice cold beer. I also like to couchsurf as much as I can. The next couchsurfing adventure will be in Australia when I hitch my way around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time really couchsurfing was while I was travelling East Africa. Not a common place to couchsurf, but the hosts I had were incredible people and really made me feel at home.

When I'm not hugging trees or laying in a field with a blanket and a couple of good books,you can find me attempting to play the guitar that always seems to accompany me on my travels, or on the pitch playing Rugby or Australian Rules Football with my mates.

The book list is a little long so I'll stick to my favourites: Love in the Time of Cholera, The Alchemist, and One Hundred Years of Solitude

Some of the music you can find in my library would be a little Bob Marley, Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, and a little Zepplin

Favourite movies of all time would be have to be The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and The Men Who Stare at Goats

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Out surfing on the west coast off of Vancouver Island, I had the please of seeing a whale in the distance breach the surface and only a few moments later while floating on my board, a couple of seals leaping over another surfers board!! Definitely a fun way to start learning to surf!

On the river Nile, I got to watch a baby elephant drink and bathe while the mother flared her ears and shook her head angrily at our boat.
In Murchison Falls I was able to watch a lioness stalk a herd of antelope, wish I could have seen her go in for the kill though.
