Overview
About Me
Lived and worked in Philadelphia as a medic for about 10 years before quitting my full time job and hitting the road the last five years. I work seasonal/contract jobs and travel for fun in between. Also, I have been getting into some TV/film work and am exploring that as well.
I am outgoing and enjoy meeting new people. I love the outdoors and adventure. My next outdoor adventure sport I want to get into is paragliding. Definitely a little bit of an adrenaline junkie in me. I also like hiking, skiing, sailing, and fishing. Sadly I sold my sailboat shortly after hitting the road but I'd like to live on one again one day. Actually grew up living on a sailboat with my dad as well!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, meeting new people, and comfortable couches. (Uncomfortable couches work too). I am also technically homeless, so that's another good reason.
But in all seriousness I am looking for new connections and friends around the world. Work and life takes me to a lot of places and I frequently cross paths with people I've met years earlier halfway across the globe. I love those connections and "small-world" moments and want to cultivate more of those. I also just feel like the couchsurfing community is a group of generally pretty cool like minded folks who are into travel and adventure. I dig that.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to sail, boat, fish. I teach CPR and Stop the Bleed.
I love to learn, especially history and fun facts about a place or city I am in. I am also currently learning Spanish and always looking for opportunities to practice.
