Hi! My name is Chase and I'm from Florida in the United States. I attended college in Miami for 4 years and went straight to work right after I graduated. That was about a year ago and now I am leaving my job to Travel around the world. I'm very outgoing and would love to stay with locals who can show me around, give me some tips, and I would love to just make some new friends in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like the best way to experience a place is to stay with and learn from locals who know the area. Not only do you get invaluable information about the place but you get the chance to make new friends all over the world. I've always been the kind of person to choose couch surfing and dorms in hostels rather than private rooms and hotels and look forward to continuing this trend and meeting new people while I travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Costa Rica I went on a hike with some friend I met at the Hostel I was staying at. We hiked the Cerro Chato, the volcano right next to Arenal. At the top of Cerro Chato is a large lake that fills the caldera of the volcano and we were able to hike down into the caldera from the top and swim in the lake for awhile before heading back down. Definitely one of the coolest things I've ever done. (The picture of me swimming is inside Cerro Chato)
