Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Yeah, hermits still do exist in the Appalachians, and I'm somewhat one of these.
ABOUT ME
I'm a paranoid android living alone with his cats somewhere in the bushes in the beautiful eastern townships.
36 years old, use to travel on my own when I'm tired of supporting this society around me and to discover other realms. I'm somewhat of an outsider.
Used to get involved in community and activist stuff, but I convinced myself to stop trying to save the world from its ongoing demise. Other than that, I love life, especially in the natural world (that space outside that's unhindered by human's destructive civilization), but humans are always fun to listen and observe.
Other than that, I am often described as handsome and intelligent, although I'm somewhat of a mess, nihilistic and disenchanted. Being a relax like I am person does help.
I travelled a lot already, adventure/drifter although there's still tons of things, people and places I wanna see and especially live through. But I also travel in daydreaming.
I love simple things and values, less worries for me!
PHILOSOPHY
Taoist/Marxist. Firm believer of self-rule and evolution through tension and adaptation. Life is made of interactions between contradictory forces, or a creative disorder. They call it anarchy, I call it my daily life!
Understanding is key to everything, judging blocks us from everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By offering a lot of really nice spaces where to put a tent, or a dryer, warmer foam bed inside my shack if you don't mind being cozy (I don't, and am somewhat used to live up close with others).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Strictly, nothing. But had a lot of related experiences of hosting (both being a host and guest) through things like WWOOFing, Warmshowers (for bike travellers) and just random hosting with folks that I met on the road.
Interests
Music, literature, sociology, revolutionary praxis, natural sciences (including herbal), movies (strange old films that no one ever hears about). Internets, sadly...
