I laugh and smile a lot as positivity is what makes my world a brighter place.
I used to be really shy and introverted that people called me 'Ice-queen' in school. But ever since I cut my hair short, I seemed to become more bubbly and talkative (: Nonetheless, I guess I'm more of a listener than talker. I think that I am an awesome friend because of this *winks* as people love hanging out and sharing problems with me. I can always be there for you to share some positive energy and encouraging quotes haha!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm currently on a 6 months exchange in Germany and what I really wish to achieve during my stay in a foreign country is to gain life experiences, social skills and get to immerse in different cultures. What is better than to experience it with the locals! My German buddies have done a superb job in hosting me, bringing me around to check out the local gems and planning dates and meals just to hang out. I really enjoy the feeling of having friends in a foreign place and forming bonds with people you have never expected to know. I don't want to be just a tourist while I travel around Europe, and rely on travel websites to find out where to go next. I believe Couchsurfing can make my trips so much cooler and different than an average traveller!

兴趣

My greatest guilty pleasure is watching movies and drama TV shows. I could skip sleeping just to do a drama marathon. You can always ask me to introduce good shows from different countries as I have watched a lot from Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, China, America... just to name a few!

For someone of my small size, I think I'm pretty daring too! I love horror, thriller movies, roller coasters... sometimes I think that it is probably because my life is too boring, thus I need such forms of 'excitement' (:

I love reading, playing the piano, improvising songs, trekking a lot...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Going on a mission trip to Thailand to teach and play with the kids~ Over there, there's no luxurious hotel or a warm water bath, only classroom floors and makeshift toilets. Nonetheless, the amount of joyfulness and fulfilment one can get is enormous and I found myself applying to go again after 2 years (: Despite their living conditions, the kids there are very innocent and carefree, and there was so much to learn from them as compared to the other way round. I was so touched that they remembered me when I went there the second time. It just shows how much impact a small action can have on others, thus never belittle what you can give (:

I can teach you Chinese language or play some songs that you love with the piano(I'm good with listening by ear)! I would love to learn languages and other musical instruments from you if you are willing to teach me too! Maybe if you are into DIY stuffs, we could do it together (: I love to listen to stories and jokes too, and if you don't mind, I can always share interesting story plot lines too!
