ABOUT ME

so this is me. i'm sabrina desirée, i also go by safi mariam. my birthday is 30 december, which makes me a capricorn. i was born in athens, greece. i've lived all over the world, including germany, england, china, japan and the united states. i am an only child. i live in georgia with my mum, but i also spend time in my father's house in los angeles.

growing up, i spoke german, english and arabic. languages have always come easy for me, with little study. i don't know why or how, just that i can learn languages well. i speak german, english, french, and spanish fluently, and japanese and arabic not so fluently.

i have always been loud, gregarious, friendly and mostly kind. i am also never late, mostly serious and always polite. i am not very strict, with rules or many other things.

i like tennis and soccer. i don't watch much television, but i love watching movies. i like to jog, but i am lazy. i can cook, but i hate to do it. i am politically minded, and i am very liberally progressive in all things, economics and society. it's tough being a liberal progressive in georgia, in case you were wondering.

i have a bachelor's degree in french secondary education. my minor was statistics. i also have a certification to teach english as a second language. i do work as a teacher. i'm not sure if i want that to be my career, but it's something i do well.

i don't know what home is, having moved so much. i feel more comfortable in europe, but i have been living in america for a while now, and while it will never feel like home, it is where both my parents live, and i do have good memories attached to this country, along with being an american citizen by the grace of my father's citizenship.
