Born and raised in Kodiak, Alaska- I have a love for travel and the outdoors. I enjoy just about any kind of organized and casual sport I can be a part of, and I have a particular love for Ultimate Frisbee. I fancy myself somewhat of an outgoing-introvert, and I can get along with just about anybody.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My brother and I found affordable tickets to the U.K. for spring break, and since we're both broke-boys in our mid-twenties we are looking for ways to further economize our trip and stay. We're packing tiny bags and big adventurous ambitions and hopping on a plane for spring break!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a variety of genres, but mostly folk, country, and rock (light and heavy), I do occasionally indulge in a bit of pop, electronic, punk, and the tried and true american oldies.

When it comes to movies, I'm all about science fiction and thrillers. This is also true when it comes to my reading choices.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I directed a summer camp on a small island across from a larger island. All the staff and kids had to come over on a landing craft. I have never worked in a more beautiful place.

I love learning about different sports, cultural dishes, and traditions. I am happy to share about Alaska, the United States, and any of my personal or shared interests.
