Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
Travel, meet people, see interesting places, enjoy creation, make people laugh, share the love of Christ
ABOUT ME
I'm a fifty-something guy who lives in a beautiful place with a wonderful wife. I work at the local hospital as a maintenance man and my wife is a kindergarten teacher at the local charter school. I love bicycling, motorcycling, hiking, camping, and the outdoors in general. We are focused on becoming more fit and are learning how to eat well and stay young. We raised three fine sons who are now young adults. We love traveling and the wanderer's spirit. My wife and I are believers in Jesus, but don't shove it down peoples's throats; rather, we aspire to live as He would have us live by loving people, providing a safe and peaceful place to rest, and being a light in a sometimes dark world.
PHILOSOPHY
I aspire to "Love my neighbor as myself". Christ is my King and someday soon I'm leaving to join Him.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Multiple time host... have had great experiences. I see us as mostly hosting, but we (my wife and I) may couch surf ourselves. Learned about it through the travels of my son, who had great experiences traveling across the U.S. and through Mexico.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Camped on top of Mt. Vesuvius, attended Midnight Mass Christmas Eve at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome with the pope, rode a camel next to the pyramids in Egypt, swam in the Sea of Galilee, got a tattoo in London, ate huge shrimp in Tunis, Tunisia, swam in Magens Bay in St. Thomas, honeymooned in Glacier National Park, lived on an aircraft carrier, ate lunch at the Parthenon, watched a sunset from above the clouds, witnessed my three son's births, married the most wonderful girl on the planet... and much more.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I'm big into raised bed gardening (although I'm pretty new at it) and vermiculture. Trying to reduce my footprint and get greener. Happy to share anything I've learned.
