I'm Stephan and living in Hong Kong since november 2018 together with my girlfriend. I was student of chemistry in Berlin for several years and finished there my thesis, enjoying my life and think about future. Now I am doing my Postdoc at the HKU in the field of organic chemistry.

If I have some spare time I'm going out in parks, going biking or meet with friends. Especially the spring, botanical gardens and nature are fascinating me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted a few couchsurfers over the last years and I've enjoied to being guest when I'm on holiday.

I like to get in touch with people in their home to get the impression of diverent lifestyles.

Interests

I like people who can tell me some interesting stories about her life. About a normal life with all the difficulties and happy moments. I like to share my stories and perhaps we find some similarties or even differents to talk about.

I am very interested in nature. I like plants and as a part of it, I am interested in herbal medicine and the use of plants in medicine but also in normal life (dyes, etc.)

I'm interested in people living in an alternative way, trying to overcome social constrains with new (or even old) ideas to live a better life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Now I am looking french films to improve my french, but I am not really successful. Unfortunately I have no time to read books, but I like to read biographys about interesting people.

Furthermore I started to read monthly magazines about discurs in society.
