About Me

Living the tropical life in Puerto Rico, currently working with a team to build a nonprofit that will improve the mental health of the island through education and access to psychedelic therapies.

Old profile:

CURRENT MISSION

Corrupting youth with science!

ABOUT ME

I am a science teacher living in Los Angeles who likes to experiment with food and fun! I recently moved here from Mexico City. I would be happy to show a clueless tourist around this city's amazing museums, parks, attractions. Fun for me involves exploring, eating, drinking and getting into (not too serious) trouble!

PHILOSOPHY

Squeeze the juice out of life!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy novels about other times and places, I usually fall asleep during movies, I love electronic music (certain genres), electro-rock, 80's, classical and some other random stuff. I always enjoy live music from a culture I am visiting as a foreigner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm.. seen tons of great stuff traveling. Eating tarantulas in Cambodia and seeing giraffes humping in Namibia spring to mind. I've seen sand dunes in white, yellow and red. Also being mugged in several places is always a learning experience (hey, not all travel experiences are amazingly NICE!).

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I used to be a high school teacher, so I can definitely help people brush up on their sciences! I'm pretty worldly and somewhat intellectual but I also like discussing the ridiculous, so let's see what bubbles up over a tea or beer, no?
