About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Travel the British Isles with my girlfriend and return to NZ to start a new adventure!

ABOUT ME

Hmm so, I was born in Zimbabwe, but moved to Nelson, New Zealand in 2003.

I Stayed in Nelson for 5 years and started working as a Chef when i was 15 and left school at 17 and moved to Wellington. I love Wellington, its such a funky little city and it came second in the Lonely Planet small city awards the year I arrived (the two events probably were not linked)

I then returned to Zimbabwe for the first time since leaving and worked as a Hospitality Manager on a Lion Conservation program, looking after guests and our volunteer program, raising funds for the program and going on the occasional Lion walk :) If anyone is interested in the work they are doing or would like to be a part of it please see

A year later I moved to London where I worked at La Chappelle a Michelin Star Restaurant. I learnt so much in my time there but most importantly that I didn't want to work 60-70 hours a week for all the Tea in China! So I quit and helped a friend run a small Live Music Venue in Camden where everyone knew everyone and every night it came to life! During the day I worked in schools as a Teaching Assistant with kids ranging in age from 5 to 16.
When summer came I bought a Van with my best friend and worked on music festivals as stewards for the summer. I then Flew back to New Zealand via a week in Fiji.

My most resent traveling adventure was spending 5 months riding a Motorbike through Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. If you would like to know more about this wild ride, you can read about it on my blog

After saving some money in NZ I went and cooked on an 80 year old 80m classic yacht in the Mediterranean.

PHILOSOPHY

There are few things in life worth taking seriously.
Its nice to be nice.
Its an adventure!
