ABOUT ME

I am looking for more moments in life that take your breath away. I am traveling to France to learn the language first hand, which is my dream. I am looking for a more european life style. The American rat race is a bit much to take. I am excited about my upcoming adventure abroad! Looking forward to meeting wonderful people and putting together the book I want to write.

PHILOSOPHY

I do not believe life should be about how many toys you have at the end of the game. America is all about commercialism and obtaining "things". If this is the American dream.. I want to wake up. Europe to me means living life to enjoy it. Having more vacation time, socialize medicine, longer lunches, I could go on all day. Life should be about people you love and spending time with them and enjoying your life, live love and laugh. Not work buy and die!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted surfers at my house and now I am headed to Europe to do some of my own surfing !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined a few years ago in antisipation of my return to Europe. I have hosted a few people in South Lake Tahoe. I think it a wonderful project that makes the world feel more like a global village. It is wonderful that strangers are willing to reach out a hand to those wanting to travel in this economy to forfill their dreams.

兴趣

I love jazz, and have joined a CS group in Paris. Listening to jazz sung in French and to hear it in Paris is the ultimate.
I love photography and am looking forward to taking some fabulous photos in Europe.
I love to cook and have taken culinary classes.
I am anxious to find some wonderful new receipes and trying new things!
I love pets and can't wait to see local pet stores everywhere I go. Hopefully I can get a job too!
I am planning to do some house sitting while abroad to really get a local feel and not just the tourist parts of the world.
Studying French is a dream of mine, to perfect my ridiculous accent and pronuncation will be wonderful. That will hopefully lead to a job using my bi lingual skills possibly at Air France reservations or who knows. I am hoping this will open the door to my future, and i am open to all the possiblities it will bring.

I am a movie aficionado! I watch movies, assist in making movies, go to movies, rent movies, I LOVE movies!
I have been an extra in: Smokin' Aces, Jerry Maguire, Homage, and Invasion. I got to work as a production assistant on Smokin' Ace's which was a dream of mine to work on a big budget film.

I have seen somewhere around 5000 movies. I am a netflix professional! I have worked in video stores for about 3 years total.

My favorite movie is the Lord of the rings trilogy.
Avatar was awesome and I admire James Cameron for revolutionizing the film industry. I also admire Steven Spielburg and George Lucas. The first movie I asked my mom to go to was Star Wars when I was 7 years old and I have been hooked ever since.

Music: I love jazz, country, AC/DC, 80's, U2, etc. excited to hear some Irish folk music in Dublin!

Books: I like Dan Brown novels, Eat Pray Love is coming with me to Europe!

The most amazing things I have seen:

The first time I saw the Eiffle tower from 30,000 feet out the window of the plane, flying into Paris. I had finally made it to France.

Witnessing a thundar storm from above it, during a flight, amazing!

Seeing a baby being born!

I am going to learn to speak French! I am willing to teach someone English. I am very interested in learning more about cooking. I am willing to share receipes of mine if you liked my dish.
I am very very interested in the Paranormal. I would love to hear any stories of your experience. I love the show celebrity ghost stories! More and more people are experiencing things, or at least now talking about it in public. I wonder if it has anything to do with 2012 coming soon!
