Greetings! My name is Chelsea and currently live in Seattle, WA. I moved there for graduate school at University of Washington 2 years ago. I have fallen in love with the green and lush city surrounded by water and mountains.

In school I studied Health Administration and I am passionate about improving the quality and access of our currently costly and messy healthcare system. I enjoy spending time outside, swimming, yoga, running, drinking a beer on the porch, hanging with friends, dancing, hiking and having open conversation.

I was awarded a travel fellowship through UW and head out on 8 months of solo travel in October. I hope to host some folks in Seattle, share my city and come to be familiar with couchsurfing in preparation of couchsurfing myself on my travels later this year.

I stayed with a friend on their farm in Patagonia, Chile, and then hitchhiked and camped north with a friend all the way to Santiago.

I am a yoga instructor and have also been a swim instructor. I know basic first aid and wilderness training and am able to help people navigate the US healthcare system. I also love to cook and enjoy helping out with a meal and learning local recipes or sharing my own!
