Sobre mí

Four foot feisty gal constructed from sarcasm, sass, yet not a jackass.

I have a love/hate relationship with spontaneity. On one hand when I go into a situation without a plan, I typically tend to enjoy my experiences because there are no expectations to fall short of. Most of the time, I am 110% down for a spontaneous adventure. On the other hand, when I meticulously plan a detailed event and it all comes together perfectly, it is the most satisfying experience in the world. You should see my passion planner.

I love eating, a lot. I abstained from meat for a year and a half, it was the best thing I could've done while learning to cook. I brine my own jalapeños and make my own jam. A spice garden is in the works.

I love art, museums, interactive exhibitions and installations. My favorite medium to work with is charcoal and I love developing film photography.

My colors are black, white or grey! I find a muted pallet allows room for my subject to speak through light and shadows.

I wasn't born in Texas, but I have an immense amount of Texas pride. I can't quite explain it, I've been here too long.

Home isn't a place for me, it's a feeling of comfort and content. I don't want to settle or be stagnant, so by my definition I should aim to be homeless yeah?

I love cars... specifically JDM cars... more specifically the MX-5 Miata and the Subaru WRX. I learned to drive in a WRX, in an area known as the hill country. So learning to drive, learning to drive manual, and learning to navigate hills all at the same time was a doozy.

However I've ventured away from cars to broaden my mechanic horizon this past year. If you couldn't tell, I kinda like my '03 Honda Shadow Spirit, 750cc. They say you shouldn't love your first bike too much because you're bound to drop it, and that's a true statement. I went down on mine, but I still ride occasionally.

When I'm not working my two jobs I drive for Lyft, and from driving for Lyft I learned about Couchsurfing! A passenger said he was in the Silicon Valley when the app was being developed, and I thought his explanation of it was such a great idea I downloaded it 30 minutes after I finished his fare.

I like to stay busy, out of my house. Or in my house playing Playstation, depends on the budget or mood at the time. I feel a need to be doing something or learn a new practical skill or venture into new hobbies. But I often get bored of my hobbies once I learn a fair amount about them. Some people feel the need to always be in a relationship, I feel the need to acquire a new hobby until I get bored of it.

It's quite terrible, I don't know how many unfinished projects I have or ideas in my head that I am not as passionate about to pursue. I should look at it in a a different way.. I know a little bit about a lot of things!
My hobby of the moment is amature thrift shopping to create slap dash outfits.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Get out of my comfort zone, and see other places.. obviously.

Texas is a big state, and Texas trinkets are big as well. Often the stories from Texas are even BIGGER TEX-YEAH.
