I'm an alumni of Michigan State University with a BS in Computer Science. I like meeting new people, and exchanging ideas.

I love making music and I play guitar, piano and also enjoy singing. My favorite hobby is swing dancing as well as salsa and other types of social dancing.

I'm interested in Eastern Philosophies, such as Buddhism and teachings from Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche as well as Ram Dass . I try to meditate on a daily basis and I also love doing yoga! I think living in the present is really important and I try to practice mindfulness in my daily life. I'm interested in healthy eating and I try to source my food locally. But I also have a sweet tooth ^__^

I try to be a responsible consumer and to have a low impact on the environment by recycling and using reusable containers and shopping bags. I think that taking care of the Earth and having a sustainable lifestyle is very important. I'm a generally clean person and I tend to help out around the house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people, traveling, and exploring new places. I'm also in the process of moving around Michigan, and it's a great way to meet new friends in the area.
