About Me

Hello! My name is Chelsea.

I am a student at Grand Canyon University (graduate in December!!). Some of my passions include snowboarding, painting, and traveling. I work full time at a Digital Advertising Agency in Scottsdale, Arizona! I am usually very busy between my school and work schedule, but if I have free time, I will most likely be painting. I'm obsessed with the Pacific Northwest and love creating these scenes on canvas.

On my weekends and holiday breaks, I love to travel! Since I'm going to school in Phoenix, AZ, I usually road trip to places like Sedona, Flagstaff, San Diego, and LA. On longer breaks, I love finding ridiculously cheap flights and planning last minute vacations!

I am a very family oriented person... they truly are my best friends. I also love meeting new people and hearing their stories. My favorite part about traveling is getting to know the locals who live there! There's no better way to get to know the city or country than spending time with those who call that place their home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! Any music really. My favorite right now is probably indie alternative. My happy music is classic rock and 90s alternative. I love older music, especially from the 50s. I wish I was born in that era! Quite honestly, I'll listen to anything. I find that I can connect with almost any kind of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015, I got to travel to Thailand and Cambodia to spend time with young girls who have been rescued from sex-trafficking. It was one of the most life-changing and perspective-altering experiences that I have ever had, in more ways than one. I saw things that I will never forget... but I really wish that I could. I also saw hope, growth, and rehabilitation like none other... and a kind of beauty in those girls that I will also never forget. Ask me about it sometime! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love hearing stories. Seriously. I love listening to different perspectives and learn from people who talk about what they are most passionate about. I love talking about my experiences traveling- the good and the bad- and hear from others' experiences as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cambodia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Thailand
