Overview
About Me
I'm Chelsea🇨🇳, an ENTP who thrives on authentic human connections and cross-cultural exchanges. My worldview expanded dramatically during my university exchange on Vancouver Island, where I discovered the beautiful diversity of people and perspectives that Canada offered. That first solo adventure abroad taught me to approach differences with curiosity rather than judgment.
While my current life stage doesn't allow for extensive travel, I've learned to discover the world through everyday interactions - whether it's discussing the symbolism in a new anime, comparing hiking routes, or exchanging cooking tips with friends from different backgrounds. To me, every conversation is an opportunity to learn something new and see the world through someone else's eyes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Even though I can't travel the world right now, I still want to be part of it — so I figured, why not bring the world to my doorstep? That's why I'm excited to join Couchsurfing and meet amazing people from everywhere, share stories, and learn about different cultures firsthand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most unforgettable chapters of my life was spending two weeks in the desert during my final year of university. I was there to plant trees — small acts of hope in a vast, golden silence. With no phone signal and nothing but the sun to mark time, I lived as people might have centuries ago: rising with dawn, resting with dusk. It was tough, yes — but also deeply meaningful and strangely romantic. In the middle of nowhere, I found something real, quiet, and true.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hey! I can help you out with English, Chinese, or Japanese if you're interested. Also, if you're into food, I can show you around the world of Chinese cuisine — there's so much tasty stuff to try!
On the flip side, I’m trying to pick up French myself and would love to learn more about it.
By the way, what are young people into these days around the world? What are your dreams? And what kind of future are you hoping to build?
