Hi, my name is chelsea, I am updating my profile because I'm going on a trip and I realized that my old profile didn't describe me so well anymore. I'm never sure exactly how to describe myself, but here are some relevant aspects of my personality: I am friendly, adventurous in my own ways, kind, a little silly at times, and love being outdoors.
In the past few years I've traveled across/through Canada a whole lot, did a lot of camping. Last winter I moved to a small town in northern BC and learnt to snowboard.
I've backpacked through parts of Mexico & Guatemala, volunteering at Earth Connections, an eco center in Molas, Mexico and on a hostel construction site on a remote mountain inhabited only by us and one Mayan family, a 2 hour commute from Lanquin, Guatemala.
When I'm not travelling my home is either Montreal, or my home town Rawdon.
I've recently been gifted a mandolin so I have been learning to play an instrument for the first time in over a decade which is a lot of fun! And now I'm headed off to Europe with my mandolin !

& when I'm home it feels good to return the favor to fellow surfers.

Interests

When I'm at home in the city I like to stay involved in the theatre, in literally any way. I tend to hang out with my friends in a lot of parks, sometimes we jam, sometimes we do cartwheels. I like a good tree to climb. Mountains too. When I'm on the road,I love stopping in at coffee shops and looking at maps, planning out a trip. When it comes to swimming, some would disagree that I enjoy it...I enjoy putting parts of my body in the water, I love being around water, floating on water is great, and yeah sometimes I even swim. But I'm usually not swimming. So when I say I like swimming what I really mean is I love going swimming with my friends cause it's usually a great time. And camping is one of the greatest joys in my life.
